Abstract Submission Guidelines
ECDMFR 2026
Authors are invited to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations at the ECDMFR 2026 Congress. Please carefully follow the guidelines below to ensure successful submission.
1. Submission Type
During the submission process, authors must select one of the following presentation types:
- Oral Presentation
- Poster Presentation
The Scientific Committee reserves the right to allocate the final presentation format (of course with the author’s agreement).
2. Category Selection
Each abstract must be submitted to one thematic category.
Approximately twenty different categories are available, covering the full spectrum of dento-maxillo-facial radiology. Authors should select the category that best reflects the main focus of their work.
3. Title
- The title must clearly reflect the content of the abstract.
- The title must not exceed 150 characters, including spaces.
- Abbreviations should be avoided where possible.
4. Abstract Text
Abstracts must be written in English.
The abstract text must not exceed 250 words.
The text must be structured using the following headings:
- Aim Clearly state the purpose and objectives of the study.
- Material and Methods Describe the study design, materials, methods, and analysis used.
- Results Summarize the main findings of the study.
- Conclusion Present the key conclusions and clinical or scientific relevance.
5. Keywords
A maximum of five keywords may be included.
Keywords must be selected from Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) to ensure standardized indexing. Authors are encouraged to consult the ↗︎ MeSH Browser for appropriate keyword selection.
6. General Notes
- Abstracts not complying with these guidelines may be rejected without review.
- Submission implies that all authors approve the content.
