Membership Cancellation Policy

Membership Term and Automatic Renewal

EADMFR membership is valid for a period of one (1) year, beginning on the date your membership application is approved and payment is received (the “Membership Start Date”).

Your membership will renew automatically for successive one-year terms on each anniversary of your Membership Start Date (the “Renewal Date”), unless cancelled in accordance with this policy. The applicable membership fee for the renewal term will be charged or invoiced at the rates in effect at the time of renewal.

Renewal Reminder

As a courtesy, EADMFR will send a reminder to your registered email address at least 30 days before your Renewal Date, stating the upcoming renewal, the applicable fee, and instructions on how to cancel. It is your responsibility to keep your contact details up to date in your member profile.

How to Cancel

You may cancel your membership at any time before your Renewal Date, free of charge and without giving a reason. To cancel, please either:

use the cancellation option in your member account on the EADMFR website, or
send a written cancellation notice by email to info@eadmfr.eu, stating your full name and membership number (if available).

Your cancellation is effective as soon as we receive it. You will receive a written confirmation of your cancellation by email. If you do not receive a confirmation within seven (7) days, please contact us, as your cancellation may not have reached us.

Effect of Cancellation

If you cancel before your Renewal Date, your membership – including all member benefits – remains active until the end of your current membership year and will simply not be renewed. No further fees will be charged.

No Refunds for Mid-Term Cancellation

Membership fees are payable for the full membership year. If you cancel during an ongoing membership term, no full or partial (pro-rata) refund of the membership fee will be granted. Your membership benefits remain available to you until the end of the paid term.

Cancellation by EADMFR

EADMFR reserves the right to terminate a membership in accordance with its constitution, in particular in cases of non-payment of membership fees or conduct incompatible with the aims of the Academy. Statutory rights of termination for good cause remain unaffected.
